Gypsy Palace is a portal to the heart of the visionary underground.
Established online in 1998, Gypsy Palace has always upheld the mission
of supporting creative individuals in their efforts to follow their hearts,
finding their way to abundance through their natural-born talents. Beginning with the Pacific Northwest, this website will serve as a nexus point for undiscovered talent in all media to connect with an appreciative audience. The primary focus at this time is visionary fashion, since it is not being represented adequately anywhere else. Gypsy Palace was temporarily located on Eastlake Avenue in Seattle and operated as a boutique and coffeeshop. The building was torn down in 2007 to make way for condominiums and the decision to return to an online presence was made to conserve resources and refocus attention on a global market. The website is being further developed to include many more artists, musicians and performers and to return to the original format of a walk-through virtual palace of inspiration. Progress will be updated on our blog as more features are added, so please bookmark this website and return often. Upcoming in October 2009 is designer Nina Heckman's gallery/performance fashion show of original wearable art, Barely There. |
