Smudge sticks of desert sage wrapped with hemp twine

My daughter and I harvest sage in Eastern Washington every spring and I bundle enough to last a year for my own ritual use, to gift or trade with friends, and to sell here in the Gypsy Palace Emporium. It is an honor to bring this sage to the national and international market, especially when most of the sage being sold on Etsy is White Sage from California. This type of sage is a silvery-green and grows in large bushes throughout most of the Western U.S. I choose the leafier variety for smudge sticks. The smell when burning is earthy and grounding, yet has light, refreshing tones that clear the air and reset the vibrational frequency in a space or around a person.

These bundles have been wrapped with hemp twine so there will be no toxic fumes when burning. The base of the smudge stick has been wrapped with colored thread for decorative purposes, and each stick has a tiny Hamsa charm for good luck and protection (note: it's not the exact charm shown in the photos, it's much smaller and cuter). Choose the quantity you wish to purchase from the menu. You will receive a mix of colors unless specific colors are requested during checkout. These will be available until sold out for the year, and not replenished again until next spring. The smudge sticks make a wonderful housewarming, solstice or blessingway gift.
