IOLITE raw gemstone dangle earrings in sterling silver filigree, vintage, RARE

Iolite is a rare gemstone to see in vintage jewelry, in fact, not many people have even heard of it. Iolite was historically used by Vikings for navigation, as it’s believed to guide the lost and provide direction in life’s journey. Iolite stimulates the Third Eye Chakra with its indigo hue, promoting psychic awareness, clarity, and connecting to higher consciousness.

The earrings measure 1 1/4” in length, with the raw Iolite stones comprising about 1/2” of that measurement. The filigree work is sterling silver, as are the earring wires. One earring weighs 5 grams, and the other weighs 4 grams. Please view the photos carefully, enlarging if needed, to inspect the detail which I did not catch myself until I noticed the difference in weights: one of the stones has a piece chipped off. It is not obvious and won’t be noticed once they are worn, but the price I have set for them reflects this flaw. Iolite is typically a rather pricey stone to acquire, so if you don’t mind the imperfection of that one stone, which was in its raw state to begin with, these earrings are practically a steal.
