Carolyn Forsman design for MoMA NYC: Silver-plated spring steel Double Helix DNA stretch bracelet 1990s collectible art jewelry

$65.00

This fantastic, collectible art/science fusion piece, designed by Carolyn Forsman, was specifically created for and sold in the Museum of Modern Art shop in NYC. Many of her other designs were featured in the museum during her active career (1990s-2010s). The bracelet is made of silver-plated spring steel for a stretchy, one-size-fits-most fit, mimicking the twisted structure of a DNA strand. It rolls right over the hand and snaps back into place on the wrist for the look of a bangle without the struggle getting it on, or the bangling around that bangles tend to do.

Unstretched, the interior diameter is about 2.5”. It is capable of stretching quite a bit, so it should be a comfortable fit for most wrists.
